To our valued Rhubarb customers,
Everyone knows that we offer up super fresh, certified organic fruit and vegetables 7 days a week here at the bustling Preston Market. We’ve been serving our community for over 22 years and it’s a given.
Some people are surprised to discover that we also stock a huge range of groceries including many vegan, gluten-free, and lactose-free options that aren’t readily available in big supermarket chains. We support many small local producers who create beautiful, healthy products from scratch.
We also feature a vast bulk section that includes nuts, seeds, flours, grains, spices, cleaners and hair products. It is fair to say that we are a ONE-STOP SHOP.
The Rhubarb cafe is top-notch and serviced by the friendliest baristas in town. We use the very best certified organic ingredients to ensure that you can get your hot beverage fix with a clear conscience. This quick checklist shows just how bona fide our planet-happy credentials are:
- top quality certified organic and fair trade certified blend of coffee
- plant-based organic specialty chai
- depending on your preference we use either Schulz Organic Dairy milk or a range of certified organic plant-based milk
- our takeaway cups are compostable, you can bring your own reusable cup or sit and relax at our cafe.
And don’t forget to look out for our vegan treats, organic soups, and salads or choose from a seasonal freshly squeezed juice.
Looking forward to seeing you around the store,
Haydn, Sue and the Rhubarb team xx

ABOUT US
When we first started at the Preston Market in 2000 we were looking for a way of working together and balancing the demands of a young family as well as being able to provide them with the most fresh and delicious organic produce.
Fast forward to the present day and we still love our jobs! We also enjoy trading in the vibrant and bustling local market that is our home.
After 20 years in the Preston Market we opened our brand new store (the third incarnation in 20 years and our largest store yet) in late 2019. We have increased our household and bulk food ranges and now have a cute little cafe on the corner of our shop. Come and visit soon.

NON-HOMOGENISED, REAL DAIRY ON TAP?

WE GIVE A CRAP
We definitely give a crap about you and are well-stocked in all the essentials. WHO GIVES A CRAP is made without trees and 50% of their profits are donated to build toilets for those in need. They have just made their biggest donation by far - $5.85 million dollars!
